{Onine Character} Event: Online Learning Providers & Users Showcase

Date:  March 10, 2010 

Start time: 1-5 PM

Session: #34175

Audience: Administrators, teachers, parents,principals.   

Structure: Users will present short summaries of their knowledge and experience with online providers followed by Vendors also presenting a short overview of their program for our review. We have heard from Aventa, Spokane Valley Schools Online, Learning.com, K12.com, Olympia Online Regional Academy, Advanced Academics, as well as others who will be available for you to query. A special appearance from Karl Nelson of the Digital Learning Department will help keep us all on the right track with the new laws.  Refreshments will be available.

Tech Survey Due March 15, 2010

 Just a reminder that the 2009-2010 Technology Survey is due by March 15, 2010, two weeks from now! As in the past, this annual survey is available on the Electronic Data System <https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us/>  (EDS; look for Technology Survey). As of tonight, about 20% of districts and buildings have completed their data entry for the survey.
